Cédric Gillmann got the Outstanding Early Career Scientists Award of the European Geosciences Union


Cédric Gillmann, planetary scientist at the Royal Observatory of Belgium, won the 2017 Outstanding Early Career Scientists Award of the Planetary and Solar System Sciences division of the EGU (European Geosciences Union) for his work on the atmospheric and thermal evolution of planets and their habitability.

Cedric gilmannHe will receive his prize on the 26th April at the 2017 EGU General Assembly taking place in vienna. On this occasion, he will give a lecture entitled Late Veneer collisions and their impact on the evolution of Venus.

Cédric Gillmann works under the IUAP (Interuniversity Attraction Pole) Planet TOPERS (Planets: Tracing the Transfer, Origin, Preservation, and Evolution of their ReservoirS).
